Cannondale Mountain Bikes

The Cannondale Bicycle Corporation was founded by Joe Montgomery in 1971 in a loft above a pickle factory. The company started by manufacturing bags and backpacks for camping. Soon after, the company started to make bike trailers along with cycling apparel and accessories.

Cannondale introduced their first bicycle in 1983. The bike frames were handcrafted out of aluminum, making them lighter and more resistant to flexing then the steel models of the day. Newer models include an all-carbon frame.

Because of the cutting edge technology of Cannondale and the quality of their bikes, a used Cannondale mountain bike is considered a fantastic way of getting top-notch equipment without breaking the bank.
